"Sasori believes that art is something that can be preserved and passed down for a long time—only 'eternal beauty' qualifies as art. Therefore, he turned everything into puppets that would never vanish. This sense of artistry stemmed, more or less, from the early death of his parents. There is no such thing as eternity in the world, yet Sasori believed in it and lived by it. This path, which goes against the principles of life, pushed Sasori’s puppets and art to their peak—he even transformed himself into an undecaying, unrotting puppet! When we see Sasori using his full-body mechanisms, it becomes hard to describe him with the word 'human,' and no one knows what Sasori is pursuing ahead. In the original work, Sasori and Deidara had a cooperative relationship, but both were artists in pursuit of art."
